4 Very Important SEO Tips

Posted by Admin | SEO Tricks | Thursday 11 December 2008 10:26 am

4 Very Important SEO Tips I make sure to do for every single one of my pages.

1. <title>VERY IMPORTANT</title> … I can’t stress how important optimizing your title is. First off, it is what people will see in the search results for that page. So make sure you have what ever keywords you are optimizing for in your title! Don’t over due it though or you could be penalized. Make it stand out!

2. meta description: Again another important aspect. You want to have a very targetted description for what ever keywords you are building that page around. Don’t just fill the description by spamming the keywords either. Write something smart and witty that will get peoples attention. Make it stand out.

3. The actual content on the page should include the keywords your are optimizing for with a density of about 3%. What this means is this that say your building a page optimized for the keyword ‘fat loss’. Well, for every 100 words on the page, you will want to use the word ‘fat loss’. Don’t over due this either or you will be penalized.

4. Domain relevance. Name your pages with your keywords included, or put them in a folder with a relevant keyword.

Piptronic Review - Advance Package Worth it?

Posted by Admin | Forex | Tuesday 9 December 2008 10:00 am

Piptronic Review

Piptronic! My $500 initial capital is now up 200% sitting around $1,500 after just 1 month. But it wasn’t easy finding it…

After months of searching, buying, testing, refunding, and then doing it all over again to find the best forex expert advisor possible, I have finally done it. It doesn’t have the huge marketing hype like some other “scam” related products like the new FAP Turbo, Forex Autopilot, Forex Tracer, Forex Funnel etc. Piptronic is quietly making a new for itself, from pure word of mouth. You won’t find any fake, in-experienced reviews created by marketers trying to shove some piece of crap product down your throat. Why? Because there is no affiliate program for it. Not having an affiliate program automatically makes it the best forex expert advisor by default. Haha ok, I’m just joking! But seriously, it got really annoying reading so many fake reviews about fake claims and ultimately, fake results.

What makes Piptronic the best forex expert advisor?

 • How about it’s revolutionary new state of the art trend adapting technology that keeps it out of micro trends that are famous for destroying 95% of expert advisors reliability.
 • Or what about it’s next generation market timing algorithm to pick the absolute safest times to open trades?
 • Don’t forget the N0S feature that has the potential to basically double your profitability.
 • These are just 3 of the many key features Piptronic has, that no other expert advisor has.

Just look at these forward test results here: http://www.piptronic.com/piptronicforwardtest.html

The results Jon Kopitar(Piptronic creator) provides are as legit as they come. Backed by a 30 day money back guarantee, what do you have to lose?

I am in no way affiliated with Jon, or Piptronic.com I am simply sharing my knowledge about the best forex expert advisor I could find.

UPDATE

Piptronic Advance Package available for the month of January only? Is this just a marketing ploy or should you jump on it?

Well I emailed Jon, and was entitled to version 2.0 upgrade for free as a previous customer. I asked if I could pay the difference for PiptronicX and he gave me a link to buy it for $70.

Let me start with Piptronic 2.0 first. It has been improved quite a bit. From performance, to added features. So far the performance has been a great improvement over version 1.0 which is saying a lot. Here are some key features I like about it.

 • It has a start and stop hour setting so you can set the timeframe you want it to trade.
 • It has a max lots setting so you don’t get caught by your broker raising the spread without you knowing.
 • It can open multiple trades at a time, and trades more frequently than version 1.0
 • It supports both 4 and 5 digit price quoting brokers
 • It gets by most brokers scalping policies
 • It can run on multiple accounts!

What about PiptronicX? It appears to be a whole new EA that opens buy trades only on the EURGBP pair. I haven’t run it on any other currency pairs but I am sure if you put it on a pair with a longterm upward trend, how could it lose!? So far so good with the forward test though, hasn’t made a loss yet. It’s get some cool new settings to play around with as well. Definetely a diamond in the rough that I would recommend grabbing before it’s gone. Remember he is only releasing this PiptronicX for the month of January.

The advance package also includes much better detailed instructions and good descriptions about all the settings and what they do. It’s a great bundle and I more than recommend it.

Please post your results or any comments you have related to these EA’s for the rest to see.

Website Design Ideas, The Basics

Posted by Admin | Web Design Tips | Tuesday 9 December 2008 8:44 am

Website Design Ideas

I’m sure one cannot imagine a world without the Internet or e-mail. The new generation has been lucky enough to be raised in one of the most advanced and downright coolest times in technology. There are iPods, iPhones, touch screen computer desktop systems and the explosion of digital cameras and camcorders on our telephones. In terms of website design, a website is so much more than slapping together a few HTML codes that you copied from the source of another cool website. Web designers, graphic designers and webmasters work together for a common goal – designing the best website on the Internet. There are so many facets of a website – here are a few web design ideas to get you started.

The Basics

The purpose of website design is to create a website that presents well to the end user over a variety of platforms and bandwidths. If you have a dial-up modem and the website uses Flash plug-ins with music over a framed website, it may load slowly and be difficult to capture the designer’s intent. Content, visibility, usability and appearance should all be taken into consideration when designing a website and can make for create website design ideas.

If you browse the Internet, you will see lots of websites that garner website design ideas for your own use. Basic website design ideas include style, color, navigation, implementing web traffic techniques, optional content like blogging and images.

Website Design Tips

A well designed and developed website requires a lot of thought, a little research (look at other websites) and someone who can make your ideas come to life. The first page that a person sees is the website’s homepage. This page is the person’s first impression and will determine a return visit. Well thought out web design ideas need to start here. If the background or text color is neon orange, it will probably not invite people again. Beginner website design ideas often start with the person’s first image. So, to determine the right color is to do a little research on what background color compliments your text and graphics. Picking the right color sets the mood and tone of your website. For a few website design ideas about color visit www.colorcombos.com.

Navigation and menu items are also important website design ideas to consider. Try being creative by using website design ideas using different shapes like a map or an island with links to other parts of your website. Clean, neat navigation can be vertical, horizontal, images or text. Some websites still use some form of rollover buttons or rollover swap images. Macromedia Flash is a wonderful n application used heavily in website design to add interactivity.

The popular use of patterns makes for wonderful website design ideas. Wood, notebook-like paper, paperclips, watercolors, tacks and handwritten notes are a great set of website design ideas that are popular trends. These website design elements aren’t solely for those in the graphic arts field. Child psychologists, tourism departments and personal online portfolios now embrace website design ideas like post-it notes, large fonts, script fonts, sketches and vintage/retro styles. Notebooks or post-it notes are great website design ideas for writers or clothing designers. Each of the different elements mentioned serve a purpose in terms of filler, pizzazz and texture.

Have You Seen My Website?

After you’ve created this über-cool website, now you need to publish it for the public to see. Webmasters are adept in FTPing the files and implementing techniques to boost traffic like submitting the website to search engines and utilizing web statistical software.

Website design ideas often come from seeing other websites. Blogs are another popular element in websites today. There are millions of blogs in existence. A blog is essentially an online commentary with text, images and sometimes music, audio and video. Blogs can be personal like an online diary or more formal like for businesses. To determine whether your website design needs to incorporate a blog involves a little thought. In terms of website design ideas, blogging is a great Internet marketing tool. To use it personally, it can be a fun way to post personal messages about yourself or what’s going on in the world.

As a business owner, a blog is a way to have a real voice to users (as opposed to a customer service representative or e-newsletter), post discount coupons, announce sales or company updates and increase revenue to your online store. A blog does not take the place of a traditional website or your online store. The blog portion of your website design idea will need a unique domain name like www.mystore.com/blog. In addition, when you decide to add a blog to your website, make sure it’s in the same subdirectory so that traffic ranking sites like Alexa don’t count your blog and website as two different sites. If everyone is visiting your store, but not as many people are reading your blog, the hits still count and give your store a better ranking position.

The hardest part of website design is the brainstorming. There are often so many website design ideas to choose from to settle on just one. Just take your time and keep the end user in mind. You can always re-design your website in a few years!

Writing Your Own Search Engine Optimization Content: A Primer For Small Business Owners

Posted by Admin | SEO Tricks | Tuesday 25 November 2008 1:05 am

Any small business owner understands that improving their search rankings is a crucial aspect of maximizing their web site’s success. Without improving your search engine optimization on web sites like Yahoo or Google, very few people will be directed to your web site via web searches, and thus you will be unlikely to attain new customers or patrons frequently. The trend for small businesses has been to outsource their search engine optimization content to freelance writers or firms that improve companies’ search rankings. However, this can often be very costly, especially for small businesses that are just getting off the ground. Many small online retailers don’t believe that they could construct their own search engine optimization content, as they fear that they don’t have the grammatical skills or knowledge of search rankings required to construct worthwhile content.

Really, there are only a few crucial points that non-professional writers need to grasp when constructing their search engine optimization content. While of course new writers should take some time to brush up on their punctuation and grammar, writing content to improve search rankings can be very easily learned. Here are some important points to remember when writing your search engine optimization content.

Choose Valuable Key Words - Many small business owners will simply utilize the name of their product or a relevant celebrity when creating their own search engine optimization content. But if one really wants to improve their search rankings, they need to use online tools from web sites like Google to research what key words are searched the most frequently. Also, don’t be afraid of using relevant synonyms. For example, if you are a small online bakery, and after researching search rankings don’t see “online bakery” as being searched frequently, then move on to figuring out what synonymous search engine optimization content will improve your traffic. “Online bakery” may not improve your search rankings, but “Christmas cookies” might.

Maintain A High Density Percentage - Phrases like “density percentage” and “key word density” often seem a bit daunting to new search engine optimization content producers. But anyone who has taken a junior high school math class can master this simple concept to improve their search rankings. Key word density is simply the amount of relevant key words divided by the total number of words in the article. For example, if you constructed an article that had the key word “car stereo manufacturers”, you would count the number of times “car stereo manufacturers” was used and then divide it by the article’s total word count. You should aim for somewhere between two and twelve percent if you want to improve your search rankings. However, anything over twenty percent is often rendered unreadable. While SEO is crucial to your small business, nothing turns away potential customers like bad search engine optimization content.

Internet Branding - How to Harness the Power of the Net

Posted by Admin | Branding Ideas | Thursday 20 November 2008 12:01 am

Internet branding is as important as any other marketing tool used to establish a reputation. Webmasters contribute to the success of well-designed websites by adding that technical element that shapes the users experience. Webmasters add that visual impact needed to draw and retain visitors. If a website is designed well, visitors return. If visitors return, it’s likely that they will tell others about the site. Pretty soon, the site will be promoted as the number one site for that particular service.  Improving Internet branding can be obtained by consistent advertising. Internet branding can be an affordable tool that strengthens the corporate identity. The online reputation of a company is crucial nowadays.

With the multitude of layoffs and corporate failings, companies are seeking to push affordable branding methods to regain the public’s trust. Typically, Internet branding can be quite costly. Although the payoff is attractive, it can pinch corporate budgets. There are several companies who offer consultations on Internet branding with affordable branding as an option. In today’s economic climate, affordable branding ought to be a necessity!

Affordable branding and corporate identity are two crucial elements that new businesses seek. These affordable branding packages that websites and companies offer include web design and development, hosting and some programming. If affordable branding is what you seek, make sure the value is high. Affordable branding includes items like a toll-free telephone number or printed merchandise with your corporate brand.  Other affordable branding products include notepads, mouse pads, lip balm, or laptop accessories.

Selecting a Domain

A prime example of effective Internet branding is Google’s website. Google would be called something like thebestsearchengine.com if it were not for its Internet branding. Google created a simple, seemingly affordable (no Flash or superfluous web design tricks) brand via the Internet. The success of the site took place the first time the visitor used the site. The ease of use and optimum search results made Google retain customers. That is the goal of Internet branding.

Choosing a great domain name is a vital decision in starting your Internet presence and establishing your brand. Domain names are a great example of affordable branding. You have the choice of up to 67 characters, although that is not advisable! There are several websites to choose from that allow you to find out  if a domain name has already been registered, or offer you options if the commercial extension is taken. In Internet branding, the domain name should be clever, easy to remember and say something about your website’s content.  The other factor is that with an easy to remember domain name, visitors can come directly to your website instead of going through a search engine.

A webmaster has the technical expertise to select a web package that best suits the company’s needs. Affordable branding options are available in terms of hosting, ftping files and overall technical configuration. It’s just a matter of research and keeping in mind the corporate brand.

Designing for Internet Branding

In order for a company to start its Internet branding campaign, a design team needs establish the company’s virtual ‘voice’.  That ‘voice’ in Internet branding equals the uniform corporate theme, colors, print media, logo, etc. This aspect of Internet branding would not necessarily be lumped into affordable branding. In bigger, more established companies, much of the corporate design budget is allocated to web design. Affordable branding can be accomplished though! Expanding aspects of a website or maintaining its growth can be achieved at a lowest cost. Regardless of the affordable branding tips that you find or hear about, the goal of Internet branding is to manage the company’s reputation.

Five Tips To Successful Web Deign For Small Businesses

Posted by Admin | Web Design Tips | Monday 17 November 2008 9:22 pm

Web design is a crucial part of crafting a small business, especially if one intends on doing almost all of their business online. The web design of a small business’ web site can make or break their profit margins. Small business owners have a lot to consider when pondering the web design of their new web site; should they have a flashy web design or something more simple? Should they outsource their web design or attempt to complete the task themselves?

Web design can be an extremely daunting task that leaves many small business owners feeling as if they will never be able to make a successful mark in the online retail market. However, here are some simple web design tips that will help any online retailer improve their web design.

Make a Plan and Stick to it - Too many small business owners become caught up in implementing cool features and unnecessary flash in their web design. When embarking on web design, have a concrete plan of how you would like your web site to be designed, and what special features you would like to have. After that, do not be tempted to add more features or expound on your original plan to much. Nothing turns potential customers away like an overcrowded and hard to navigate web design.

Color Counts - Color is an important part of web design, and color can make a small company look more interesting and exciting. However, going overboard on color in your web design can leave your business looking a little cheesy. Not only is yellow text on a hot pink background difficult to read, but it appears as if a thirteen year old girl did your web design! Feel free to play with color, but remember that unless a very young or eccentric crowd is your target audience, it’s probably best to stick with more “mature colors”, such as navy or burgundy in your web design.

Easy Navigation Wins Customers - Nothing is more frustrating than a difficult to navigate web design to potential customers. When constructing your web design, remember that sub pages should be easily and visibly linked to on your index page. If someone is seeking a product or a piece of information, it shouldn’t take four hours to navigate your bulky web design before they find it.

Get Savvy with Social Networks

Posted by Admin | SEO Tricks | Thursday 13 November 2008 11:43 pm

Sites such as Digg, Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace are great sites for networking, chatting, and catching up with old friends. But, these sites can also be valuable marketing tools as well. If you know a bit about search engine optimization and great content, you can use all of these sites to your advantage.

How?

If you plan to go the social networks route, get ready to spend a lot of time online. Building up your clientele is possible via these sites, but it is not a simple task. You will have to spend hours networking, joining groups, and writing educational content. Is it worth it in the end?

Many modern marketers swear by these networking sites. Those that put time and effort into building up their online presence often see quick results. Still, you have to know how to use a site properly in order to gain anything from it. Here are some fast tips:

 • Network: as in real life, you will have to find key players online that you can network with. Join discussion groups, speak with those in your industry, and connect with important decision makers. The trick here is to find only those people that can increase your business - in short, don’t add every person you know to your page.
 • Tip-Toe: don’t start selling your business right away online. If you come off as trying to pitch your product, people will turn away from you quickly. Instead, spend some time on a site, begin to meet people, voice honest opinions, get your name out there, and then start to talk about your own business.
 • Blog: set up a blog that contains recent, informative, articles. Now, some people tend to include lots of SEO (search engine optimization) keywords into their blog articles, but this must be done with skill. You don’t want people to know that you are trying to increase site traffic.

The Art of the Article

If you have never been gifted with words (or a keyboard), don’t try and write your own articles - this can lead to immediate disaster. Articles that are full of misspelled words, typos, and errors will not put you in a professional light.
